Nicholas Hinkebein
Hello everyone, my name is Nick Hinkebein. I am a junior in Spanish IV, and I have been an active participant in the Spanish National Honor Society since my sophomore year. As a proud member of the Spanish National Honor Society, I was delighted to have the opportunity to help run events such as the JDRF walk, which raised money for a cure for type 1 diabetes. Around Christmas time, I also enjoyed cooking for families in need and singing Christmas songs at the Salvation Army. Topics I have enjoyed learning about in Spanish are climate change, South American geography, and different types of foods and diets from around the world. Outside of school, I enjoy hiking, running, and spending time with friends. I am a member of the BHS XC team, and in the offseason, I like to train for community races like the Bentonville half marathon. However, this spring break, I will be running the Los Angeles Marathon. I also plan on taking the Arkansas Seal of Biliteracy test this spring. As a Junior class student council representative, I have experience in representing my fellow peers in school events like homecoming and spirit day themes. Please vote for me because, with your support, I am dedicated to upholding the integrity of the Spanish National Honor Society while enhancing the service we provide for the community.
