Carl Bolivar
¡Hola! I am Carl Bolivar! I am a junior and a second-year member of Sociedad. Born in Overland Park, Kansas, and raised in Northwest Arkansas since I was one, I’ve been immersed in the Spanish culture from an early age. I have taken 4 years of Spanish and I am taking Advanced Spanish IV with Mrs.Jurmanovich. I have been able to do many life-changing service projects through the organization. As a prospective officer, I’m eager to channel this enthusiasm into fostering a spirit of service and display our servitude attitude throughout our community. It would help if you voted for me for President, Vice President, Web Specialist, or In School Events Director. I am passionate about this club and the Spanish language and have experience managing these roles. I have honed my leadership skills with past clubs such as Make a Difference Youth Foundation and Computer Science Honor Society. Make a Difference Youth Foundation is a student-led, college-bound organization that impacts the community through education, creating events, and directly impacting those in need. In my spare time, I create websites for small businesses; for example, I developed and managed a website for a popular local Venezuelan food truck, Naguara. I am also maintaining and developing an application called StudySquawk. This social educational app provides learners with universal access to resources, tools, and support from a community of other learners. It has an automatic HAC grade calculator, group studying calls, and more. I truly care about making a difference and a lasting impact throughout the community and displaying to others how amazing we truly are! Thank you for your time.
