After passing Spanish I and then taking IB Spanish, I am now a junior with over 4 years of Spanish study. I am originally from India and have been actively volunteering at the temple for over 40 hours, helping set up culturally oriented activities such as Diwali, Ugadi, etc. In addition to my studies, I also play on the varsity basketball team and have been to state tournaments regularly. I was the head of the Earth Day project and managed to get 30 kids interested in planting trees. I also coached a 6th-grade boys' basketball team, showing my capability in a leadership position. The reason you should vote for me is because I have a unique culture, which adds diversity to the Spanish Honor Society. The level of Spanish I have studied, from beginner level to IB Spanish, shows my dedication to language. I have also completed successful community service projects and been in situations that require communication, dedication, and leadership.
